A daily test of balance

How to play Weight

Compare two everyday objects, with one type on each pan. Adjust the quantity on either side until their total weights match. Either side can be heavier, and any exact balance works.

Everyone gets the same pair each day and up to five weighings. The closer the total weights, the higher your score; only your best result counts. Perfect balance earns 100 points and ends the challenge early. A new pair arrives at 00:00 UTC.

Weighings and results

How do I weigh the objects?

Click or drag objects to their matching pan, use the quantity controls, or type a whole number. Put at least one object on each side, then select Weigh. Editing alone uses no attempt and gives no new feedback: the scale stays held until you weigh.

Does refreshing give me five more tries?

No. Your completed weighings and best score are saved. Return in the same browser as a guest, or with the same signed-in account, to continue with your remaining attempts. Switching game modes does not reset your Weight challenge.

Are these real-world weights?

The weights are set for this game and are not official product specifications. The unit weights and one exact balancing combination are revealed after your fifth weighing, or earlier if you find a perfect balance.

How do I join the leaderboard?

Finish the challenge and your best score automatically joins the leaderboard with your current nickname. No sign-in is needed. Linking a Google or verified email account is optional and helps you regain access after clearing browser data or changing devices. The separate Weight daily board ranks your best submitted score. Monthly and all-time boards rank the average of submitted daily best scores and also show total points. Only submitted days count; equal scores or averages share a rank.
